Well. Where should start? Hmm. Ok I'll start with the duration of my few engagements I had involved in. 1st engagement, I was located at the Ocean Towers & it's super near the firm I am working in as well as the HDB's room I am renting. It was a 3weeks Interim engagement. Great ppl made a great team as well as a great working environment to start with. My 2nd engagement as well as my current engagement also runs for 3weeks (& still running). Nxt week is my last week in this engagement. Again, great people I met. Not forgetting, also a well diverse team which includes 2 Singaporeans, 2Indonesians, 1Taiwanese & me. Well the best part should be the many different people I met so far. I have even known a Filipino during my training.
LEISURE
Nothing much to do here, except for shopping! The hub of shopping is in Orchard but you can basically do shopping at every MRT station itself. Electronics gadget is kinda cheap here. So is the football's jersey. If you don't convert back to RM; even if you convert it is cheaper by a few bucks. 2casinos's just open recently & there's also Universal Studio, Birdpark, Zoo & other attractions I have yet to explore.

You can find food everywhere in Spore. Be it Foodcourts, Hawker centres, Fast foods, cafes & any makan places names you can think of. The prices are reasonable as well. But the varieties are almost the same at most of the foodcourts or hawker centres.

World Cup Fever
Those who thought of this must have lots of time
Why people play football for 45 minutes, not 30 minutes or 1 hour?
Even the sports scientists and some of the senior players could not give the right answer.
In that confusing situation one person came up with a reasonable answer.
He said......."The reason people play this game for 45 minutes is...
There are 2 teams and there are 11 players in each team.
Each player brings his own "2 balls"
So in total there are 44 balls.
There is one ball on the ground itself. Thus the grand total is 45.
Question Answered !!!
Sometimes there is extra time of 2 mins which is the referee's balls! Women football play same duration too!

Law of the Garbage Truck
-Something for the grumpy, moody souls…
One day, I hopped into a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded and missed the other car by just inches!
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling obscenities at us.
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Hey, why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call: 'Law of the Garbage Truck'.
He said: "You know, many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage – full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it, so sometimes they'll dump it on you.”
His advice?
"Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't pick up the garbage others are trying to get rid of. If you do, you'll take it with you and will end up dumping it on people around you, at work, at home, or on the streets."
If you want to be happy, do not let garbage trucks – your own or other people's – overtake your day. Let go anything that's not positive. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it! Love the people who treat you right. Hope the best for the ones who don't.
Marriage
MARRIAGE
When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.
Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce.. I raised the topic calmly.
She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?
I avoided her question.. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.
She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.
When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce.
She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.
This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day..
She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy... Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Dew about my wife's divorce conditions... She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully..
My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. >From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time.. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.
On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning.. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.
Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.
Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.
But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.
I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind... I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore.
She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.
Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.
At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I ran up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.......I cried and cried uncontrollably and carried her for the last time from the room to the hall with tears streaming down my face and gazing at my only son, his tears rolling from his eyes, they made me cry even more. I had lost my love, my wife and a loving and caring mother and nothing I could do now to put the clock backward. I had all the time now to look at her motionless body in detail but I knew it was going to be only for a short while until she made her last journey to the Lord......I held my son and wept again and again thinking of all the things I did not do for her when she was still alive.........and placed gently the flowers in her hands with my tears trickling on them.......she was gone forever, all my tears would not bring her back .
The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank, blah..blah..blah. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

The Tale 0f a Landlord
Fortunately, her brain is still razor-sharp & she can type. She kept herself updated by surfing the internet. Her mobile phone, laptop & a board is her only tools of communication. Sometimes, she mimics words with her mouth trying to convey a message.
I admired her! In spite of her difficulties all these years, she remained positive.
Her smile is ever-ready. I do not know whether she is in pain whenever she smiled ever openly. Despite her conditions, I can see she's full of energy & wits inside her. Only her fragile physical condition restricted her.
Furthermore, she's kind. She openly accepted a stray-living man to stay in her HDB unit! This man has nowhere to stay & used to sleep around the HDB compound. Feeling 'kesian' for him, she invited him to sleep in the hall of her HDB.
This is the story of my landlord. All these were told to me through the words of mouths.
So far, from what I saw of her was all +ve. Only time will reveal further truth to me.
All I can say is that despite her difficulties she puts many healthy & normal people to shame!

I have not really grasp the meaning of this phrase, maybe till today.
How many times had I left home before? I meant for a really long period of time.
So far maybe once, when I left for my tertiary studies in UUM. For those who have no idea where UUM is, it's situated in Sintok, Kedah! Guess many might have not even heard of Sintok before including me when I 1st checked online where I were to be placed 6years ago.
6years later, I will be leaving home again soon. My heart felt 'heavy' & 'one-kind'. Now I know, it's hard to leave HOME & let me tell you the feeling is terrible, horrible & some say 'chalat'!
HOME had been a place filled with love, protection, care, comfort, & every single +ve verb you can think of! In short, HOME contained & shared every single journey of my life so far! It's not easy to let go of something so important in a flash of light! =.=
Worst still, I learnt that my dad will be going to Penang for 2days, meaning my Little Sis will be home alone for a couple of days! Had a short conversation with Little Sis & she said, " Huh, I never at home alone b4 at night lerr. Usually only alone during the day." Thank God, Dad has canceled his trip due to a reason.
My Little Sis had been very independent. Being the youngest, she was deprived of motherly love after the passing of mum. A weak person would had buckled under this but she had came out from the 'tragedy' stronger than expected. Even to an extent, much much much stronger than me! Everytime I looked at her, there's a feeling of empathy because I know it's very difficult for her at her age.
Soon Little Sis will be left with Dad. Big sis is in KL. Little Bro is in KL. Big Bro will be in S'pore.
She'll then enter another phase of life having to cope with her life especially her school assignments all by herself. I had the pleasure of asking Dad&Mum. Big sis had the pleasure to ask Dad, Mum & Big Bro. Little Bro had the pleasure to ask Dad, Mum, Big Bro & Big sis. Little Sis will have to fend & struggle all by herself yet again...
May Mum bless every single one of us, especially Dad & Little Sis...

Brush your teeth? Have your breakfast? Have a jog? Read the newspaper?
For me, ain't of the mentioned above!
The first thing I do are to go online.
Check some updates on various sites like Facebook, Soccernet, The Star Online, Daily Chilli, M'sian Today and others!
I don't brush my teeth or have my breakfast 1st. =b
With my laptop so convenient by my side, & the 1st to greet me in the morning apart from a message from my mobile phone, I will go online straight off. Worst still, I don't have to start my lappy as I left it on the whole night to complete my download of movies. Just left it on throughout the night & the next morning I have a few new movies to watch! =)
After that, I will just blog something (like this morning) if I have something to share on or just watch a movie or read some interesting articles online.
After finishing all this only will I go & have my teeth 'polished' and fill my tummy with food & drink. Then, only I will continue my other routine for the day. Of course, all these are only possible when I am not working!
Sigh... =.=
Did ya realised something? Everything I did was through 'online'. Can we escaped from the 'online' world nowadays? Even we can get the latest up-to-date updates, either friends or world news online!

Exams!
Why do we need to study? To update ourself? To improve ourself? For promotion purposes? Or just following the flow? Whatever the reason is, it's a struggle nevertheless!
Do we really understand what we are studying? Or just mere memorizing for exam purposes? Nowadays, most exams are automatically checked by the computers. Does this mean that a set of answer has been uploaded into the computer and if the student's answers do not match the answers, it will then be deemed a wrong answer? To be honest, I have no idea! As a matter of fact, even in good old school time, during exam, most teacher will mark an answer wrong if it defers from the answer scheme. Do we really need to fully memorize and applies the exact one in exams? Where lies our creativity, our sense of thinking? How can this help in developing our brain to think out of the box? We had been train since in school in such ways. Exam grades mattered the most above others! We are pegged back from expressing our views indirectly.
Now, as I am preparing for my ACCA, I still apply the same old method. The difference this time around is that my brain seemed sluggish & can't absorb the info straight away. I am finding it stupid to jz memorize it but that's what I have been taught all this while in school. This is the wrong way, it should be but nevertheless it is an effective 1 if you have a powerful & cooperative brain!

Life's full of dilemma, both positives & negatives. When you were born, your path might had been drawn by the ONE and not to our knowledge. We lived through the path, overcoming one after another challenges on the way, either 'breeze-fully' or 'struggle-fully'.
Today, was another learning curve for me! I went to see a show-house, somewhere around Krubong Jaya. There's 2 types of units on show, 1 design costing about RM299k, fully-furnished show-house except for TV, fridge, & washing machine. It was sold! The other design with different measurements costing RM332k, also fully furnished with air-con whole house except for as per above! This, is still available. Dilemma arises! From the outlook, looked impressive & attracting our fragile heart pushing towards making a decision to buy. But behind it, the problem of servicing the loan brought me back to reality. Ppl said it can be serviced from as long as 20-30years. Sounded promising and withing the range of do-able but again knowledge! Knowledge is POWER. What other factors to consider? Education loan? I am a noob when it comes to property. I found it tough to digest the 'talks' by the salesman straight-away. After-all they were trained to speak and sell their 'items'! In the end, decision is all ours, the buyer. The salesman, their job is all done after persuading the future buyer to finalize their BUY.
I realize knowledge is damn broad! With the relevant knowledge, we can minimize our fear. But, where can I attained this knowledge? Internet, comes to mind! Easy? Simple? Once you tried it, then you let me know your answer. Bottom line, knowledge is really powerful. After all, it's better to be careful with our hard earned pennies!

But true to myself, after a few slides I fell asleep soon after! Haha
Woke up today & wanted to have half-boiled egg for my breakfast.
I boiled the water put the eggs in & wanted to prepare the saucer but then I found out that the pepper had expired way back in year 2008! Disappointed! So I had to change to hard-boiled egg instead! PLAN B as what it was understood!
This reminded me of my MUM actually. The kitchen, toilet & majority of the house compound were in disarray after her 'GOODBYE' even up till today! We can't even manage it in numbers of the things Mum used to do it alone! That's the power of MUM!

Let me break what I wanna share into few categories:
Weather
What can I say about this? Terrible, horrible & chalat! 24hours heat wave nearly everyday!
Kept sweating non-stop. No air-con will suffer lo nowadays! Global warming, my fren!
Career
I have been static for few months. Getting lazy each day. But I am going to a new environment & culture so0n. But still the same old job scope & workload, far worse I reckon!
The initial stages to get there had been challenging. Going there & back numerous times, for interview, medical as well as room hunting. Praying hard that everything will be fine & sm0oth. It will be tough as a start but god willing I will be able to adapt to the transition asap & smoothly. I was excited at the same time nervous, worried & stress waiting & wondering upon the challenges ahead!
Physical
I have put on alot of weight for the pass 1 year. I have a 'spare tyre' now! Some said I have been growing 'side-wise' instead of 'up-wise'.
In addition, went to 'sinseh' & he 'diagnosed' that I have problems with my left side. My left leg used to 'ma pi' lo but now better d lo. Then, he said I need to cut down on some categories of food & drinks. Furthermore, I am easily tired & fatigue nowadays. "lam pong' d lo...
Ages is catching up on me it seems!
Next, during my medical check-up, my pressure was a little high & doctor advised me to recheck my pressure in a month time. Looked like I am in a really bad shape currently.
Life's tough. Life's full of thorns. We can live to our best possible abilities but at the same time we need luck & guidance from the MIGHTY one!

When we makan satay celup in Mlk, usually we only thought of either Capitol or Ban Lee Siang in Ong Kim Wee & to a little extent McQuek's
But there's another outlet in Cheng as well, called Kingtu Satay Celup

> & even the gravy can add extra-hot if you loved spicy... beware 'coz the original gravy is pedas d!
It's still 50sen/stick but there are certain items with 2 sticks or even more than 2 sticks (sotong depending on the sizes)
Don't be surprised if you got there & u saw long lines waiting ala to the scenario at Capitol Satay Celup!
We were lucky to go there early(6pm) as later on as we sat down more n more ppl kept flocking in.
Damn alot of ppl lo I tell you!
Be early & choose the tables inside if you do not 1 others to stare at you eating as asking you to EAT FAST & GET YOUR ASS AWAY S0oN!

Overall, a good alternative to Capitol & Ong Kim Wee & McQuek's
I love it there!

Ordered side-dish, 'mantou with sauce' (the mantou very x3 small!)
The baked rice is damn cheesy, eat alot will get 'jelak' easily
