Exams!

Exams! Non-stop in my short life. I am not a consistent book-worm, more like a last-minute type. Just can't discipline myself to sit down for long hours to study & my brain just don't co-operate with me as well. This is a big big problem to me. My power of memorizing is fading fast as well. Sign of old man lo! Haha. Cham!

Why do we need to study? To update ourself? To improve ourself? For promotion purposes? Or just following the flow? Whatever the reason is, it's a struggle nevertheless!

Do we really understand what we are studying? Or just mere memorizing for exam purposes? Nowadays, most exams are automatically checked by the computers. Does this mean that a set of answer has been uploaded into the computer and if the student's answers do not match the answers, it will then be deemed a wrong answer? To be honest, I have no idea! As a matter of fact, even in good old school time, during exam, most teacher will mark an answer wrong if it defers from the answer scheme. Do we really need to fully memorize and applies the exact one in exams? Where lies our creativity, our sense of thinking? How can this help in developing our brain to think out of the box? We had been train since in school in such ways. Exam grades mattered the most above others! We are pegged back from expressing our views indirectly.

Now, as I am preparing for my ACCA, I still apply the same old method. The difference this time around is that my brain seemed sluggish & can't absorb the info straight away. I am finding it stupid to jz memorize it but that's what I have been taught all this while in school. This is the wrong way, it should be but nevertheless it is an effective 1 if you have a powerful & cooperative brain!
