There's no place better than home, as the saying goes!
I have not really grasp the meaning of this phrase, maybe till today.
How many times had I left home before? I meant for a really long period of time.
So far maybe once, when I left for my tertiary studies in UUM. For those who have no idea where UUM is, it's situated in Sintok, Kedah! Guess many might have not even heard of Sintok before including me when I 1st checked online where I were to be placed 6years ago.
6years later, I will be leaving home again soon. My heart felt 'heavy' & 'one-kind'. Now I know, it's hard to leave HOME & let me tell you the feeling is terrible, horrible & some say 'chalat'!
HOME had been a place filled with love, protection, care, comfort, & every single +ve verb you can think of! In short, HOME contained & shared every single journey of my life so far! It's not easy to let go of something so important in a flash of light! =.=
Worst still, I learnt that my dad will be going to Penang for 2days, meaning my Little Sis will be home alone for a couple of days! Had a short conversation with Little Sis & she said, " Huh, I never at home alone b4 at night lerr. Usually only alone during the day." Thank God, Dad has canceled his trip due to a reason.
My Little Sis had been very independent. Being the youngest, she was deprived of motherly love after the passing of mum. A weak person would had buckled under this but she had came out from the 'tragedy' stronger than expected. Even to an extent, much much much stronger than me! Everytime I looked at her, there's a feeling of empathy because I know it's very difficult for her at her age.
Soon Little Sis will be left with Dad. Big sis is in KL. Little Bro is in KL. Big Bro will be in S'pore.
She'll then enter another phase of life having to cope with her life especially her school assignments all by herself. I had the pleasure of asking Dad&Mum. Big sis had the pleasure to ask Dad, Mum & Big Bro. Little Bro had the pleasure to ask Dad, Mum, Big Bro & Big sis. Little Sis will have to fend & struggle all by herself yet again...
May Mum bless every single one of us, especially Dad & Little Sis...
